Andrew Pearce is a former pastor and ministry leader with many years of experience in church leadership, mentoring and developing people. He served for more than a decade as an Associate Pastor at Lighthouse Family Church in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where he was involved in church leadership, youth ministry, mentoring and public speaking. Earlier in his ministry, he also served as a youth and young adults leader. Andrew is married to Cora, and together with their children they live in The Hague, the Netherlands. Today, Andrew works as a Senior Lecturer and leader in higher education in The Hague. His work includes teaching, coaching, leadership development and international education, as well as helping students grow both personally and professionally. Throughout his life, Andrew has combined a heart for people with a passion for leadership, faith and education. Whether in the church, the classroom or through mentoring, he enjoys helping people discover their potential, grow in wisdom and become equipped to make a meaningful difference in the world. In this book, Andrew contributes to Chapter 7, “You Are the Living One,” reflecting on Jesus as the source of life, the conqueror of death and the One who brings hope and abundant life.
