Dr. Christopher Bird is married to Rachel, and together they planted CTF Farnborough in 2020. Christopher has been involved in leading churches and serving in different areas of ministry for over 30 years. Today, he serves as part of the leadership team at CTF Farnborough and, together with Rachel, as a National Leader of Catch the Fire UK. Christopher’s heart is to see the Kingdom of God released into people’s lives and communities, both in the UK and in the nations. He loves sharing stories of what God has done and what he has experienced along the way. Christopher and Rachel both enjoy spending time with people, especially when food is involved. A good curry is always a great way to win their hearts! They have two married children and a granddaughter, and they deeply value time with their family. In this book, Christopher contributes to Chapter 4, “You Are in the Midst of the Seven Golden Lampstands,” where he writes about Jesus’ intimate knowledge of His Church and prayer as a place of friendship, closeness and honest dialogue with Him.
